Datado pela pr\u00f3pria autora como sendo de 14 de dezembro de 1829 (quando Charlotte tinha apenas 13 anos), o poema possui menos de 8 cent\u00edmetros &#8211; o que torna sua leitura dif\u00edcil sem uma lente de aumento &#8211; e fazia parte da cole\u00e7\u00e3o particular do poeta e acad\u00eamico Roy Davids, que tamb\u00e9m incluia manuscritos de John Keats, Robert Burns, T.S.
